About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join a team working on an advanced application built around WebAssembly, Qt/QML, and SQL. The key requirement for this role is hands-on experience with WebAssembly. We are looking for someone who not only has strong development skills but can also contribute to the architecture and long-term evolution of the solution.

The application will be continuously expanded with new capabilities. Future development plans include self-monitoring, real-time data buffering, and efficient processing of real-time data, so experience designing scalable and high-performance systems will be highly valued.

This is an opportunity for a senior engineer to have a real impact not only on the implementation of current features but also on the architecture and future direction of the solution. You will be involved in building a system designed to evolve over time, with future requirements including real-time data handling, buffering, caching, and application self-monitoring.

Responsibilities

Develop and extend an advanced application using WebAssembly, Qt/QML, and SQL
Design and implement new functionalities
Contribute to the overall application architecture
Make technical decisions with future scalability and maintainability in mind
Optimize application performance and resource usage
Work with SQL databases and data processing mechanisms
Prepare the system for future real-time data processing, buffering, caching, and monitoring capabilities
Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders on technical design and implementation
Take ownership of solutions from the architectural concept through to implementation

Requirements

Must Have

Strong practical experience with WebAssembly - mandatory
Senior-level commercial software development experience
Strong knowledge of Qt/QML
Solid experience with SQL and relational databases
Experience designing application architecture
Ability to design solutions with future development and scalability in mind
Strong problem-solving and independent decision-making skills

Nice to Have

Experience with real-time systems
Experience with caching and data buffering
Knowledge of application monitoring and self-monitoring mechanisms
Experience with performance optimization
Experience designing scalable and high-performance applications
