Job description

About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain backend services, automation workflows, and Salesforce API integrations supporting a GTM data platform and AI-assisted sales automation initiatives. You will develop REST APIs and webhook-based lead routing systems, integrate with Salesforce APIs including EVO and Omnichannel, and contribute to AI SDR automation workflows using Java or Python in an Agile sprint environment. The role requires 4+ years of backend engineering experience with Salesforce platform development or API integration expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain backend services and automation workflows (Java / Python / microservices).
  • Develop and integrate with Salesforce APIs (EVO, Omnichannel, lead assignment rules).
  • Support AI SDR automation - including Ghost User setup, Calendly integration, webhook-based lead routing.
  • Contribute to the GTM data platform codebase.
  • Work within an agile sprint process with a JIRA-based backlog (GTMDR project).

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Backend engineering: Java OR Python.
  • REST API integration and webhook development.
  • Salesforce platform development OR API integration experience.
  • Experience with CRM automation and lead routing systems.
  • Familiarity with agile delivery and JIRA.
  • Upper-intermediate English level.

Nice to Have

  • Salesforce Apex, Calendly API, or experience building AI-assisted sales tooling.
