Responsibilities

Take responsibility in an interdisciplinary team with highly qualified Software Engineers, UI/UX-Experts, Agile Coaches, and Product Owners on high-quality software solutions.
Conceptualize and realize complex and versatile software projects with your team and our clients.
Live agile software development in Daily Scrums, customer reviews, and retrospectives with the support of our Agile Coaches.
Design long-lasting software architectures with your team and implement them iteratively and incrementally.
Implement DevOps methods to quickly add value to end-users and gather feedback.
Introduce new and stable technologies at the right places.
Work self-organized in your project team, take responsibility, and actively shape XITASO.

Requirements

Leadership & Ownership: Approximately 5 years of practical experience in software development and responsibility for the successful implementation of challenging software projects. Depending on the project context, you will contribute to topics such as Backend, Frontend, DevOps, or AI Engineering.
Communication: Very good German and English skills (at least C1 level) and the ability to explain complex technical relationships to the audience, both within the team and to customers and partners.
Collaboration: You understand collaboration as a success factor for excellent software. You actively share your knowledge and manage to transform different perspectives into viable solutions.
AI for Software Engineering: You use modern technologies and tools thoughtfully. In particular, you have experience in the field of AI for Software Engineering and responsibly use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, OpenCode, or GitHub Copilot to make software development more efficient and effective.
Architecture & System Thinking: You enjoy working on challenging architectural issues and actively contribute your perspective to discussions about architecture, software design, and technical approaches. You think about software holistically and can evaluate technical decisions in the context of architecture, maintainability, operation, and costs.
Code Understanding: You have a strong understanding of high-quality code. You quickly familiarize yourself with existing codebases, understand relationships, and critically evaluate code generated by both humans and AI systems.
Growth Mindset: You approach changes with openness and curiosity. You see new technologies, methods, or areas of responsibility as an opportunity to learn and develop. You are willing to step outside your comfort zone.

Salary Information

Within our uniform and transparent salary framework, the gross annual salary for the position ranges from 58,000 – 70,000 EUR and is based on various factors such as qualifications and experience.
