We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer - AML - Java to join our AML Risk team. This role will focus on building systems and controls that detect money laundering and terrorist financing risks.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AML detection controls that can evolve and scale.
• Own large projects, their technical roadmaps, and their delivery.
• Shape product decisions and explain the customer problem and expected impact.
• Improve reliability, security, and technical quality.
• Mentor engineers and share knowledge across the team.

Requirements

• Expert in your technical discipline.
• Understanding of your team’s technical and business domain.
• Design systems with long-term change and scale in mind.
• Mentor and coach other engineers.
• 5+ years of experience building backend systems, distributed systems, or data-intensive systems.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AML or financial crime.
• Experience running machine learning or large language models in production.
