Senior Software Engineer I, Compute

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer I for our Compute team at DigitalOcean to build and scale cloud compute resources. Join us in New York or San Francisco to contribute to our mission of providing everything you need to build, scale, and deploy intelligent applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable cloud compute resources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment
• Optimize existing systems for performance and reliability

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Software Development
• Proficiency in Cloud Computing and Kubernetes
• Strong background in Containerization, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code

Nice to Have

• Experience with managed databases and storage
• Familiarity with GPU-powered inference
