Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor in crafting high-impact solutions, working within a cross-functional team of skilled engineers. Your work will involve designing and developing APIs, ETL pipelines, and frameworks that give commercial stakeholders secure, reliable, and performant access to data and insights.

Key responsibilities include:

• Own frontend development tasks from concept through delivery, using modern frameworks (Angular preferred).
• Contribute to backend development by building or integrating APIs, data flows, and server-side logic.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to the technical roadmap.
• Ensure code quality and reliability through comprehensive testing, code reviews, and best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge to uplift team capabilities.

Requirements

• Education: BS/master’s in software engineering or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Skills:
  • Expertise in modern frontend frameworks: Angular OR React.js, including HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
  • Deep understanding of databases (SQL preferred) - Schema design and evolution, relational concepts, and query optimization.
  • Solid grasp of backend concepts and comfortable working with REST API design, asynchronous frameworks, Python web frameworks (Flask, FastAPI), and server-side development in Python.
  • Strong grasp of software engineering principles, system design, and algorithms.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Collaborative mindset, communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience implementing AI/ML features in previous projects.
