About the Position

Senior Software Engineer (Platform)

Join Altium 365 as a Senior Software Engineer (Platform) to build cloud-native applications and scalable infrastructure using.NET, AWS, and more. Lisbon, Portugal.

Responsibilities

Your primary role will be product development for complex cloud applications with the Altium 365 Platform team. You will be involved in:

  • Building new cloud-native applications and scalable infrastructure
  • Utilizing AI and ML to power advanced search capabilities
  • Large-scale data processing; data modelling; holistic, intent-based API design
  • Stateful and stateless servers, relational databases, ORM frameworks

Requirements

  • 7+ years of .NET experience
  • Deep expertise in one or more of these areas: identity and authentication, access or license management, message queues/brokers, distributed caches, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, relational database design and optimization, platform framework development, multi-tenancy, Rings Protection Model in cloud development
  • Proven experience building and operating distributed, high-load systems, including performance profiling, optimisation, load testing, and stress testing
  • Strong ability to solve complex technical challenges that differ from typical market products, combining engineering software and cloud services
  • Ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams and drive architectural decisions
  • Experience defining and driving engineering standards, best practices, and technical governance at a platform level
