Senior Software Engineer (React.js)

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (React.js) with 5+ years of experience to join our team in Kharkiv, Ukraine. You will be responsible for developing user interfaces and maintaining code quality.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership over assigned product module(s);
• Clarify requirements to the level of comfort estimation;
• Meet the deadlines;
• Implement state-of-the-art user interface;
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality;
• Review code of the other colleagues;
• Play in the team to mutually improve each other.

Requirements

• React.js (5+ years of experience), including markup;
• Understanding Redux architecture;
• Hands-on experience with REST API;
• Ability to write well-documented, clean JavaScript and TypeScript code;
• Ability to develop unit tests and perform simple testing;
• Support the culture of mutual code review;
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, Docker-compose;
• Result-oriented team working and communication;
• Intermediate English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with HTML5/CSS3 markup;
• Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar library;
• Experience with at least one modern software development process (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall);
• Experience with estimation of own work;
• Desire to broaden the skills range and consult less senior software engineers.
