About the Position

Senior Software Engineer - SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to join our team in Latvia or Lithuania, crafting interactive analytics that deliver actionable insights. You will design and build user-focused dashboards and planning apps on SAP BW and HANA, partnering closely with stakeholders to turn requirements into consistent deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Drive the design and build of SAC dashboards, stories, and analytical applications
• Define solution architecture and apply best practices for scalable, high-performing SAC planning applications
• Connect SAC with SAP BW, BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, and other data sources
• Create and maintain data models, including Live/Import connections, CDS views, and Calculation Views
• Tune dashboard performance and improve the end-user experience across analytics platforms
• Implement SAC scripting logic to extend and refine analytical applications
• Coach technical teams and support delivery in Agile project environments
• Set up data governance, security, and authorization concepts across analytics solutions
• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and developers to align reporting with business objectives
• Convert business requirements into clear, consistent, and usable analytics deliverables

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with SAP data platforms across 3+ years
• Deep expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud, including Story Design, Analytical Applications, and Planning
• Strong proficiency with SAP BW, BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, and HANA models
• Solid skills in data modeling and connectivity, including Live/Import connections, CDS views, and Calculation Views
• Practical knowledge of SAC scripting using JavaScript-based logic
• Proven background in Agile delivery leadership and mentoring teammates
• Clear understanding of data governance, security, and authorization concepts
• Demonstrated competency collaborating with stakeholders and translating requirements
