Senior Software Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Backend Engineering Team. If you are passionate about Java, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures, and you want to work in a highly dynamic environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
• Build and operate event-driven services using Apache Kafka
• Develop and maintain applications running on Java application servers such as WildFly
• Collaborate with engineers and architects on system design, architecture, and technical improvements
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of production systems

Requirements

• Very strong experience (+7 years) with Java backend development and modern backend design principles
• Experience with Spring and Spring Boot for building microservices
• Experience with Kafka or other messaging / event-streaming platforms
• Experience with Wildfly/JBOSS is a big plus
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and working with SQL databases
