Senior Software Engineer with Python and Go (f/m/x)

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced person for the position of Senior Software Engineer with Python and Go (f/m/x) to join the team focused on designing and developing integration solutions that automate enterprise platforms such as GitLab and Jira. In this role, you will concentrate on creating middleware, automation tools, and CI/CD components in GitLab that improve software delivery processes and operational efficiency. Your task will be to deliver reliable automation solutions supporting the software development lifecycle in the organization. Responsibilities

• Designing and developing middleware services and integration platforms using Python and Go
• Creating robust integrations between GitLab and Jira, as well as other platforms such as Elastic Stack and Open Policy Agent
• Building reusable services, libraries, and APIs to support automation and orchestration of processes
• Designing and implementing CI/CD components for GitLab
• Creating cloud applications and middleware
• Maintaining awareness of Linux system operations and Linux shell commands

Requirements

• Min. 5 years of experience in software development and integration solutions
• Strong knowledge of programming languages Python and Go
• Strong experience working with CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and creating reusable CI components for GitLab
• Extensive experience in building and using REST APIs
• Knowledge of database technologies such as Redis and SQLite
• Experience working with cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Azure
• Familiarity with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats) and Open Policy Agent (OPA) will be an additional advantage
• English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level
