Job Summary
As a member of ISN’s Product Development team, the Senior SQL Developer is responsible for writing efficient SQL code on the ISNetworld SQL Server databases. The position will also expose individuals to the complete Software Development Life Cycle.
Who Should Apply?
- 6+ years' experience in using T-SQL programming language, including writing queries, stored procedures, and functions
- 4 years' experience in large OLTP environment
- Extensive Microsoft SQL server experience
- Proven experience in designing databases from scratch
- Experience with database design, performance tuning, query optimization, indexes, data migration tools, and data analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Create complex queries on large data sets
- Reverse engineer existing SQL code, data flow, and logic
- Perform performance tuning of queries
- Develop and design database objects, such as tables, indexes, constraints, etc.
- Analyze query performance and identify improvement areas
- Work with development, QA, business teams, and at times directly with customers
- Effectively leverage approved AI-powered tools and automation to enhance productivity across daily work activities and applicable Software Development Life Cycle elements - such as requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and/or operations.

- Employees must be within a commutable distance to the Dallas, TX office. Relocation is required for candidates not already local to the DFW area.
- In-person attendance is required at minimum 2 days per week during the first 90 days of employment.
- After 90-day review, in-person attendance is required at minimum 1 day per month and required for certain meetings and tasks (collaboration with stakeholders and customers, team collaboration day, ISN events, team events, performance reviews, etc.).
