Senior Staff Engineer, ServiceNow(GRC)

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Staff Engineer, ServiceNow (GRC) to join our team in the South Asia region. This role is full-time and requires 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow architecture, application development, and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Writing and reviewing high-quality configurations.
• Understanding client business use cases and technical requirements, and converting them into technical designs.
• Mapping decisions with requirements and translating them to developers.
• Identifying different solutions and selecting the best option that meets the client’s requirements.
• Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation.
• Writing and reviewing design documents explaining the overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for developers.
• Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensuring that all relevant best practices are followed.
• Developing and designing the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it.
• Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects.

Requirements

• 8+ years of total experience.
• Strong working experience with ServiceNow architecture, application development, and implementation experience.
• Strong working experience in the ServiceNow module GRC and Legal.
• Strong command of ServiceNow platform components such as Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, Flow Designer, etc.
• Solid knowledge in MID Server setup, platform upgrades, troubleshooting, and integrations.
• Extensive experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide), Web Services (REST, SOAP), SRAPI, import set APIs.
• Experience designing and implementing custom scoped applications.
• Proven record of delivering large-scale ServiceNow implementations in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including version control, CI/CD, unit testing.
• Ability to consult and influence on technical decisions and architectural best practices.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Prior experience in enterprise software development in ServiceNow-competitive application domains.
• Knowledge of SOA technologies including REST, SOAP, and integration techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
