About the Position
We are looking for a Senior Staff Java Engineer to join our team developing Trading Technology systems. The client is a US and Norwegian based global leader in Asset Management, and a global investment management organization with high quality assets and strategies around the world.
Working in a hybrid system from an office located in Warsaw and Cracow, however the client is open to candidates who would like to work 100% remotely. The client offers employment based on an employment contract or B2B.
Responsibilities
- Work with the QA and support team
- Design, develop, debug, and maintain solutions in Java
- Develop close working relationships
- Extending our order management systems
Requirements
- Strong Knowledge of Java
- Unix/Linux
- Financial industry experience
- Kafka/ActiveMQ/RabbitMQ - nice to have
- Low-latency programming or high frequency trading experience
- Network programming experience
