Senior (substitute) Cashier of the Central Office of PJSC "MTB BANK" in Odesa

We are seeking a Senior (substitute) Cashier of the Central Office of PJSC "MTB BANK" in Odesa to handle cash operations in compliance with legislation and bank policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full material responsibility for the preservation of cash and other valuables entrusted to them.
• Perform cash replenishment operations and removal of surpluses from the bank branch's cash, with the issuance of appropriate accompanying documents for the delivery of a bag of valuables to the bank's cash collectors in accordance with the procedure established by the bank's internal regulations.
• Control the solvency and authenticity of banknotes (coins) during the acceptance and processing of cash using appropriate equipment (devices).
• Process cash, sort suitable and unsuitable cash, and package banknotes (coins) in accordance with the requirements of NBU regulations and internal bank regulations.
• Remove suspicious banknotes (coins) from circulation and send them for research.
• Ensure timely full receipt of national and foreign currency cash received by the branch's cash and its crediting to customer accounts.
• Ensure timely reflection of cash operations in the bank's automation system and accounting.
• Determine cash symbols for cash receipts/disbursements in accordance with the economic content of the cash operation (purpose of payment).
• Maintain synthetic accounting registers (references, registers, books, journals, etc.).
• Summarize cash and other valuables balances in the branch's operating cash, reconcile the cash and other valuables balances in the operating cash with the accounting data of the bank's automation system and synthetic accounting registers.
• Create safe working conditions with cash and other valuables, ensuring their proper storage.

Requirements

• Higher education (educational and qualification level junior bachelor, bachelor in banking / economics) / basic full secondary (specialized) education.
• Work experience in the banking system of at least three (3) months; impeccable business reputation.
• Absence of violations of Ukrainian banking legislation and internal bank regulations during work in a banking institution.
• Knowledge of Ukrainian legislation regulating the work of banking institutions.
