Senior System Administrator

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator who takes infrastructure seriously and ensures its stable operation. We value someone who is comfortable working with existing systems, organizing them, and making them more convenient for the team. This role includes on-call shifts according to a clear schedule with compensation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain company server and service infrastructure, perform routine system maintenance
• On-call shifts and incident response according to approved runbooks
• Setup and configure Linux and Windows servers
• Ensure proper functioning of server and workstation software
• Configure and maintain web servers (Apache, Nginx, PHP) and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis)
• Deploy and maintain backup and disaster recovery systems
• Automate processes and implement Infrastructure as Code
• Technical onboarding and offboarding of employees
• Inventory IT resources
• Ensure information security
• Create and maintain technical documentation, instructions, and knowledge base

Requirements

• 2+ years as a System Administrator / L2 Support
• Deep knowledge of Windows Server, macOS, Linux
• Understanding of OSI model, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, NAT
• Experience with Cloud servers, hosting, and hosting panels
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git
• Bash scripting knowledge
• Experience with Zabbix / Prometheus / Grafana
• Understanding of information security principles
• Strong communication skills, ability to explain technical concepts simply
• Results-oriented, detail-oriented, responsible
• English – B2

Nice to Have

• Interest in developing DevOps skills
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform
• Python scripting knowledge
