About the Position
Join Inxmail as a (Senior) System Administrator (d/w/m)
Inxmail is looking for a (Senior) System Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring stability, security, and reliability. If you are passionate about operating and developing our IT infrastructure, we want you to be part of our team!
Responsibilities
- Administration and Maintenance: Manage and maintain servers, networks, and storage solutions in a heterogeneous environment (Windows and Linux).
- Availability: Ensure the availability of our core infrastructure (Proxmox, Kubernetes, CEPH, Network,...).
- Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and support hardware and software.
- Monitoring and Security: Monitor system performance and ensure the availability and security of our IT infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve errors and issues that arise.
- Project Management: Plan and execute IT projects.
- Compliance: Ensure the implementation of compliance requirements (ISO 27001/C5).
Requirements
- Education and Experience: Completed vocational training/degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
- Professional Experience: Several years of experience in system administration or a similar position.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in server administration, network technology, and IT security.
- Experience with virtualization technologies, especially Proxmox.
- Experience with the administration of Windows and Linux systems.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and cloud services (e.g., Azure) in a hybrid setup.
- Languages: Very good German and English skills are essential.
- Additional Skills: Experience in purchasing and supplier management is a plus.
