Within Corporate Tax, we are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Global Compliance & Reporting team in the Diegem office. Similar vacancies are available in our Antwerp, Ghent, Hasselt, and Liège offices.

Our Global Compliance & Reporting team assists both international and Belgian companies with direct tax compliance and reporting obligations, Belgian ad hoc tax advisory, tax controversy, tax accounting reporting, tax risk management, tax on-site assistance, and tax function assessments. By closely collaborating with financial and accounting experts, we translate financial data into tax solutions, aiming to be the trusted business advisor for our clients.

In this role, you will help guide our clients through the complexities of Belgian tax legislation and contribute to shaping the future of corporate tax services.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant in the Global Compliance & Reporting department, you will:

• Lead Financial Reporting Processes: Execute and oversee financial reporting processes for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Tax Compliance Oversight: Ensure clients meet all Belgian tax compliance obligations and provide expert guidance on day-to-day services, including representation during tax audits.
• Process Improvement Initiatives: Identify, design, and implement process improvements in clients’ tax compliance processes.
• Client Portfolio Management: Proactively manage and communicate with the team regarding your assigned client portfolio, fostering strong relationships.
• Continuous Learning and Development: Stay abreast of the latest changes in Belgian tax legislation and industry trends.
• Technology Adoption: Lead the adoption of fast-changing technologies and digital transformations within compliance processes.
• Proposal and Presentation Development: Assist in the preparation of client proposals, internal and external presentations, and lead client meetings.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a financial, economic, or law orientation (with a focus on Taxation).
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Corporate Income Taxation.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver high-quality results.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and/or French, with fluency in English.
• A collaborative team player with a critical, innovative, and curious mindset.
• Strong client and results orientation skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
