About the Position
We are looking for a Senior Technical Analyst to join a project for a leading financial services client in Vienna. You will support the development of a new advisor-facing application and work closely with business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Location: Remote within the EU + 2 days per week onsite in Vienna
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders and product managers
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
- Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, developers, and other stakeholders
- Analyze existing banking and advisory processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Support developers during implementation and clarify functional and technical questions
- Validate delivered solutions against defined business and technical requirements
- Identify technical dependencies, risks, usability concerns, and potential performance issues
- Maintain structured and up-to-date project documentation
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, IT Analyst, System Analyst, or Requirements Engineer
- Previous experience in banking or financial services
- Strong understanding of application development, APIs, system integrations, databases, and software development processes
- Experience translating complex business requirements into clear technical specifications
- Good knowledge of Agile methodologies, user stories, acceptance criteria, Jira, and Confluence
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach
- C1 English level
Nice to Have
- Experience with advisor-facing banking applications or digital banking platforms
- Knowledge of banking advisory processes and financial products
- Experience with process modelling, solution architecture, testing, or UAT
