Senior Technical Business Analyst

About the Position

We’re seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in enterprise integrations, REST APIs, and technical requirements analysis, including hands-on experience with OpenText Documentum. You’ll work closely with business and technical teams to define requirements, analyze system integrations, support API and integration testing, and ensure successful delivery across complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements for enterprise applications and integrations
• Translate business needs into clear, testable functional and technical requirements
• Define API requirements, data mappings, business rules, validations, and error handling
• Analyze system interactions, dependencies, data flows, and integration scenarios
• Support integrations involving OpenText Documentum and enterprise content management platforms
• Create process flows, integration diagrams, and supporting documentation
• Define acceptance criteria and test scenarios for API, integration, system, and UAT testing
• Validate APIs and integrations using tools such as Postman or Insomnia
• Collaborate with Business Stakeholders, Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and QA Engineers
• Support backlog refinement, estimation, delivery planning, and dependency management
• Maintain requirements, traceability, and documentation in Jira and Confluence
• Identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and impacts across systems and integrations
• Use approved AI tools to support requirements analysis, documentation, and scenario generation while validating the output

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in IT or Business Analysis, with strong enterprise application experience
• 3+ years of experience in enterprise integration, API analysis, or technical requirements
• Strong experience gathering and translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, and system integrations
• Experience with API testing and validation using Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools
• Strong knowledge of data mapping, business rules, validation, error handling, and integration flows
• Experience with OpenText Documentum, ECM, or document management integrations is a strong advantage
• Good understanding of API security, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, and authorization
• Experience defining acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and supporting UAT and integration testing
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools
• Banking, financial services, or other regulated-industry experience is preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
