Senior Technical Calypso Business Analyst

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Calypso Business Analyst to join a dynamic technology team supporting front-to-back capital markets processes. This role will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving the analysis, design, and delivery of solutions within the Calypso platform. The successful candidate will possess a strong background on the Calypso platform.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements
• Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization within the Calypso platform
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories
• Collaborate with development, testing, and support teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle
• Conduct impact assessments for system enhancements, configuration changes, and platform upgrades
• Support solution design discussions and ensure alignment with business objectives and platform capabilities
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings across business and technology teams
• Assist with test planning, user acceptance testing, and validation of delivered solutions
• Provide subject matter expertise on trade lifecycle events, product setup, workflows, and operational processes
• Support production issue analysis and contribute to continuous platform improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience working with the Calypso platform
• Deep understanding of trade lifecycle processes across front, middle, and back office functions
• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities within a fast-paced environment
• Experience across asset classes such as Fixed Income, FX, Money Markets, Commodities, Equities, or Derivatives
• Knowledge of Calypso configuration, workflows, collateral management, settlements, risk, or accounting modules
• Experience supporting platform upgrades, enhancements, or integration initiatives
