Senior Technical Program Manager

About Us

Join Xoople - We are Here to Protect Tomorrow

At Xoople, we're building the Earth's data foundational layer for AI. Our mission is to enable AI to understand and predict physical changes on the world's surface by creating Earth’s System of Record™, a trusted, enterprise-grade data foundation that connects the physical world to digital systems.

By transforming vast amounts of Earth observation data into actionable insights, we help enterprises and governments make faster, smarter decisions about risk, operations, sustainability, and growth. Working at Xoople means joining a team creating a world-first capability that will fundamentally change what AI can understand and do, bringing real-world context into every business decision.

Xoople is at a pivotal stage: emerging from stealth, scaling a category-defining platform, and building the commercial systems needed to bring Earth’s System of Record™ to enterprises and governments globally. As AI becomes more autonomous, organizations need trusted, real-world data they can act on across supply chains, infrastructure, risk, resilience, agriculture, and security. This role sits at the center of that growth moment, helping translate Xoople’s technical advantage and market opportunity into a repeatable commercial engine.

About the Role

As Senior Technical Program Manager, you will drive execution of complex, cross-functional programs spanning space systems, geospatial data, data platforms, and product development. Operating at the intersection of engineering, product, and operations, you will own delivery of critical initiatives that enable Xoople’s end-to-end Earth intelligence platform, with a particular focus on programs that turn Earth observation and location-based data into scalable products and capabilities.

This is not a coordination role. It is an execution leadership position responsible for turning strategy into clear plans, aligning teams, managing trade-offs and risks, and ensuring programs deliver measurable business and technical outcomes.

Impact You Own

  • Own end-to-end delivery of complex technical programs, from planning through execution and release.
  • Translate strategic initiatives into executable program plans with clear milestones, dependencies, and risks.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across engineering, product, operations, and external partners.
  • Manage program-level trade-offs across scope, schedule, cost, and technical complexity.
  • Identify and mitigate risks early, driving data-informed decision-making.
  • Establish and strengthen scalable program management practices, tools, and governance.
  • Drive portfolio-level visibility, prioritization, and resource allocation across initiatives.
  • Improve execution velocity by refining workflows, communication patterns, and cross-team coordination.
  • Support release coordination and delivery across multiple engineering teams and systems.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Systems Engineering, or an equivalent role.
  • Demonstrated ownership of complex, multi-team technical programs in distributed systems environments.
  • Strong understanding of system integration, interfaces, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Experience working in modern engineering environments, including cloud, CI/CD, and continuous delivery.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
  • U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain Secret clearance.
  • Able to work in a hybrid model from our Madrid headquarters.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Deep experience overseeing the full lifecycle of EO programs, including satellite constellation coordination, automated tasking, cloud-based telemetry downlinks, and raw data ingestion.
  • Experience leading programs in aerospace, geospatial technology, or space systems.
  • Experience working with data-intensive or platform-based products.
  • Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience driving portfolio-level planning or building program management office frameworks.
