About the Position

Senior Telco Network Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior Telco Network Engineer to join our team in Bitola, Ohrid, or Skopje.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage large-scale network environments.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of IP networking and network architecture, including BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, DHCP, RADIUS, VPN, QoS, Multicast, and IPv4/IPv6.
• Work with Cisco and Juniper network technologies.
• Engage in network design, service development, migration, complex troubleshooting, and 3rd-line support.
• Implement network automation and scripting, preferably using Python.
• Gain experience with VPLS, Metro Ethernet, WiFi, and mobile networking technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Service Provider / Telecom networking and large-scale network environments.
• In-depth knowledge of IP networking and network architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper network technologies.
• CCNP/CCIP/CCDP, JNCIP, or equivalent professional-level knowledge is preferred.
• Experience with network automation and scripting, preferably Python.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior engineers.

Nice to Have

• Experience with VPLS, Metro Ethernet, WiFi, and mobile networking technologies.
