About the Position

We are hiring a Senior Tendering Engineer for our team in Bucharest.

Responsibilities

Analyzes the probability of participating in tenders and expresses an opinion within the team;
Records requests for quotations and tenders in internal reports;
Assists in developing the technical solution, considering functionality conditions, budgets, and deadlines for tender participation;
Details the technical solution together with equipment and system suppliers;
Prepares technical data sheets for equipment related to own activities;
Prepares the offer presentation documentation, taking into account the client’s requirements and internal procedures;
Collaborates with all departments to include all necessary elements in the offer;
Requests additional information from the client, if necessary, to clarify various aspects related to the offer/solution. Participates in site visits to collect field data within the limits of competence;
Provides support to the Project Management department during implementation;
Prepares cost estimates by items using the InterSoft database;
Inputs resources (labor, equipment, materials) and adjusts offer prices;
Verifies compliance with cost estimation norms;
Generates updated quantity lists;
Evaluates indirect costs, overhead, site organization, and profit;
Provides support to the Project Management department in updating prices according to site realities;
Achieves the objectives set for the role and contributes to the achievement of team objectives.

Graduate of higher education in the energy/electrical field;
Minimum 3 years of experience in bidding/design;
English – intermediate level;
Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet navigation;
Knowledge of InterSoft or a similar cost estimation software;
Good understanding of the field;
Organized and highly detail-oriented person, with the ability to analyze and synthesize information;
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously;
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
