About the Position
EPAM Vietnam is looking for a highly motivated Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in transitioning our testing services from primarily manual to automated. Responsibilities
- Define effective testing strategies, optimizing resources and introducing automation
- Execute manual test cases across various functionalities, logging all identified defects and bugs in the tracking system
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover issues beyond predefined test cases
- Continuously update and refine test cases to reflect changes in the application’s current version
- Prepare and maintain a comprehensive test data bank to support scenario-based testing across multiple use cases
- Participate in usability testing sessions to identify user experience issues and recommend improvements
- Document test execution results thoroughly, including defect logs and regression testing coverage
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software testing and/or test automation experience, dealing with complex technical issues and tasks
- Proficiency in test automation using JavaScript and test automation frameworks in the JS ecosystem
- Hands-on experience building automated regression suites for web apps (Cypress/Playwright) and APIs
- Experience in customer-facing roles, with strong communication and collaboration skills
- Solid background in test management and functional testing across various platforms
- Good understanding of test automation approaches and principles
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and test automation processes
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English (B2) with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
