About the Position
We are hiring a Senior Test Engineer (JavaScript, TypeScript) to join our dynamic team in Latin America. Contribute to manual and automated testing efforts.
Responsibilities
- Perform Day-in-the-Life testing to validate real-world customer workflows
- Prepare and maintain client configurations and test environments
- Perform manual functional, integration, and regression testing
- Develop and maintain automated end-to-end, API, and integration tests
- Monitor manual and automated test execution, investigate failures, and track test reliability metrics
- Work closely with developers to identify, reproduce, document, and track defects
- Collect testing metrics and contribute to QA reporting
- Collaborate with the team to clarify acceptance criteria, support early testing, and participate in test code reviews
- Help improve testing practices and overall product quality
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing
- Strong knowledge of software testing principles and best practices
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO
- Experience with API and integration testing (REST/GraphQL) using tools such as Postman, and a solid understanding of REST principles and HTTP methods
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Experience testing web and mobile interfaces
- Understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform testing
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Upper-Intermediate English level
Nice to Have
- Experience with React-based web applications
- Experience with additional automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, or Appium
- Familiarity with containerized test environments (Docker)
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
- Experience with FinTech or payment systems
- Experience working with U.S.-based or international clients
