Senior Test Engineer (Verification Engineer)

About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer (Verification Engineer) to join one of the world's leading transportation, mobility & construction equipment providers. This role is a B2B contract position based in Göteborg, Sweden, with a start date of 2024-07-01.

Responsibilities

• Identify verification needs for features, functions, or field tests to define test requirements
• Create test plans and manage, plan, prepare, and execute tests
• Analyze results and provide recommendations in their respective technology area
• Prepare and manage fault reports from tests and document results in the engineering report
• Continuously update test methods and propose updates to technical requirements
• Define strategies and develop test methods for new technologies within features, functions, or field tests
• Deploy and support feature, function testing, or field tests in new markets and sites
• Manage test codes and / or test methods and ensure fidelity of test methods and codes
• Act as a technical expert within an area or have broad competence in many areas
• Train and mentor less experienced team members and manage a network across the organization
• Support junior team members and peers
• Act as a role model of lifelong learning, sharing knowledge, and developing others as a trainer and / or coach
• Dig deeper into their own discipline while building a broader T-shaped profile
• Develop influence and work confidently within the wider Company's network
• Clearly articulate how they are creating value within their part for the TD/BA

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of feature, function, and field testing
• Ability to perform physical and virtual testing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage and execute tests
• Proficient in documenting and reporting results
• Knowledge of test methods and technical requirements
• Ability to develop strategies for new technologies
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
