We are currently strengthening the team of one of our clients with the following profile:

Senior Tester QA– Hybrid (Lisbon or Braga)

Responsibilities

• Certifications / Education: ISTQB Foundation + either Bachelor’s + 6 years OR Master’s + 4 years of relevant experience (minimum 4 years)
• Experience with Python, GenAI applications, Databricks, and APIs
• Manual and automated functional testing across the full workflow (including moderately complex testing tasks)
• Test automation using Java, Selenium, SQL, and Cucumber/Gherkin; able to create, modify, and maintain automation scripts to meet company-specific needs
• Defect management: create, update, and resolve defects within a defect workflow
• Creation and maintenance of test cases and test plans in management tools (Jira, ADO)
• Experience with manual testing, automated regression tests, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Knowledge of IAM test accounts and QA best practices/standards
• Familiar with repository practices (Git, GitLab, Bitbucket) and quality management tools (Jira, ADO)
• CI/CD experience (Jenkins, ADO, GitHub Actions)
• Experience mentoring/coaching team members
• Worked in Agile frameworks (SAFe or Scrum)
• Performance testing with Apache JMeter is a plus
• Fluency in English
