About the Role
The Senior Treasury Analyst will be part of the Corporate treasury team and will build, manage, and support the implementation of the Company’s cash management, liquidity management, and foreign exchange activities covering the LATAM region.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily treasury operations, provides accurate cash reporting, and assists with bank structure management and risk management activities
- Act as a Treasury liaison with the company’s business units in setting up new banking accounts, services, and handling bank inquiries and related matters
- Assist in creating and executing cash management and credit services including payment services, standby letters of credit, and similar instruments
- Assist with inter-company settlements and foreign exchange transactions
- Prepare, monitor, and analyze/optimize the Company’s cash position to cover cash commitments
- Works cross-functionally with the Finance team to identify financial risks, exposures, and support appropriate risk management programs (controls, financial, and hedging)
- Assist with risk management and FX processes including loading FX trades and rates, maintaining settlement instructions, and updating FX mandates with counterparty banks
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports (treasury metrics)
- Assist with other departments (e.g., Audit, Accounting) with monthly, quarter-end, and ad-hoc information requests as needed
Requirements
- Relevant Work Experience: 7+ years
- Domain Experience: 5+ years of cash management experience
- Full professional proficiency in English (B2 or higher)
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline (finance, economics)
- Strong knowledge of the banking industry and technical knowledge of bank products and services and treasury applications - in particular the LATAM market and local banks
- Ability to apply accounting, finance, and treasury principles for financial transactions
- Strong Excel (G-sheets) skills required and general presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Teamwork, communication skills, and interpersonal skills
