About the Position

appflame – A leading Ukrainian product IT company that creates world-class products like Hily, Taimi, AdConnect, Mailkeeper, and more. We are looking for a Senior User Acquisition Manager (R&D) to join our team and drive growth and optimize acquisition strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end acquisition flow for R&D webfunnel projects
  • Launch, optimize, and scale paid campaigns with a strong focus on META as the core acquisition channel
  • Build and improve a structured testing engine across META campaigns, creatives, audiences, bids, placements, landing pages, and funnel steps
  • Work closely with creatives to improve angles, hooks, and testing priorities for user acquisition
  • Analyze performance data, identify bottlenecks, and make clear keep / iterate / scale decisions
  • Manage budgets and traffic distribution across tests and scaling campaigns
  • Turn data into practical actions that improve acquisition efficiency and funnel performance
  • Research competitors, trends, and market patterns to generate new test ideas
  • Help validate promising new funnel concepts and growth opportunities through fast execution and structured testing

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in User Acquisition / Performance Marketing
  • Strong hands-on proficiency with META Ads - from campaign setup and daily optimization to testing, scaling, and performance analysis
  • Experience working with web funnels, subscription products, or other direct-response acquisition models
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing and funnel metrics - CPA, CPP, ROAS, LTV, payback, CVR, CTR
  • Ability to build and manage a structured testing process across creatives, audiences, bids, placements, landing pages, and funnel steps
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence in making data-based decisions
  • Experience working closely with creative teams to improve ad performance, angles, and testing priorities
  • Structured, proactive, and ownership-driven approach to work
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving R&D environment with constant testing and changing priorities
  • English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher

Nice to Have

  • Experience with other paid acquisition channels besides META, such as Google, TikTok, etc.
  • Experience with landing page / funnel optimization, not only media buying
  • Experience launching campaigns for new products, geos, or audiences from scratch
  • Practical use of AI tools for analysis, reporting, research, or workflow automation
  • Experience in Dating, Social Discovery, LGBTQ+, or other emotionally driven consumer niches
