Senior UX Designer

About the Position

Caseware is one of Canada's original Fintech companies, having led the global audit and accounting software industry for over 30 years, with more than 500,000 users across 130 countries and available in 16 different languages. We are looking for a Senior UX Designer who is ready to take ownership of complex design problems that sit at the intersection of design craft and AI-assisted making. In this role, you will help shape the evolution of our UX Design Team, integrating tools like Figma Make, Claude Code, and Replit into everyday practice. You will design user experiences for our cloud-based audit, financial reporting, and data analytics solutions used by accounting professionals in over 130 countries.

Responsibilities

• Design exceptional user experiences for Caseware’s cloud-based audit, financial reporting, and data analytics products.
• Shape how the team brings AI into its everyday design practice.
• Design human oversight moments inside agentic workflows.
• Help evolve Caseware’s design system.
• Plan and lead user research.
• Lead cross-functional design conversations that shape product direction.
• Develop the design team by mentoring junior and intermediate designers.
• Represent the team to Team Leads, Development, Product, Industry contacts, and other external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Genuine enthusiasm for working at the intersection of design craft and AI-assisted making.
• At least 3 years of professional UX experience.
• Fluency with AI-assisted tools like Figma Make, Claude Code, and Replit.
• Design experience with human oversight moments in agentic or AI-driven features.
• Experience planning and leading end-to-end user research programs.
• Proficiency with Figma and related design and prototyping tools.
• Confidence representing design direction to senior stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring junior or intermediate designers.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of accounting, audit, or financial services industries.
• Prior experience designing for AI-powered or conversational product features.

Salary Range

The annual base salary for this position is between $105,000 CAD and $115,000 CAD per year. This role is also eligible for discretionary bonus and/or commission, as well as other benefits.
