Power Media, a company specializing in designing and implementing modern infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions for enterprise clients, is looking for a Senior VMware Engineer. The organization carries out advanced projects in the areas of VMware, SDN, cloud computing, networking, and IT security, collaborating with the largest organizations in Poland. Responsibilities

Scope of Responsibilities:

Designing and implementing modern virtualization environments and Software Defined Data Center (SDDC)
Implementing projects based on VMware Cloud Foundation, NSX, vSAN, and VMware Aria technologies
Designing and developing Software Defined Networking (SDN) environments
Participating in building private and hybrid cloud infrastructure projects
Serving as a technical expert and architect in infrastructure projects
Collaborating with the implementation team on advanced enterprise projects
Creating technical documentation (HLD, LLD, and deployment documentation)
Supporting the sales department in preparing solution architectures, technology selection, project quotations and estimations, and presales meetings with clients
Conducting technical presentations, workshops, and consultations for clients
Participating in training, certifications, and technological competency development
Collaborating with technology vendors and business partners

Requirements

We Expect:

Several years of experience in IT infrastructure, VMware virtualization, and enterprise networks
Very good knowledge of VMware technologies: vSphere, NSX, vSAN, VMware Cloud Foundation
Knowledge of network issues and SDN solutions
Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, HPE, or Dell network infrastructure
Knowledge of Kubernetes / Tanzu solutions
Ability to create technical documentation
Communicative knowledge of English (B1/B2)
Fluency in Polish
Independence and project management skills

Nice to Have:

VMware or network solution vendor certifications
Knowledge of Linux and backup systems
Experience with storage and HCI solutions

A. Maintaining the Power Media Candidate Database and conducting recruitment processes: creating your profile in the candidate database, evaluating qualifications, matching your candidacy with job offers from our clients (including the recruitment you are applying for), and maintaining contact.

Legal basis: Your voluntary consent to be included in the candidate database (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR).
Retention period: 24 months from the date of application or until you withdraw your consent.

B. Formal verification of candidate availability with the Client: providing the client with a minimal amount of data (e.g., name and surname) to exclude situations where you have previously applied to this client or through another agency.

Legal basis: Our and the client's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) in verifying the absence of disputes and avoiding duplicate applications.
Retention period: For the time necessary to complete the verification.

C. Submitting the full application to a specific Employer: sending your CV to a selected client after verifying their identity and obtaining your confirmation of interest in participating in the process with that specific employer.

Legal basis: Your separate consent indicating the specific employer by name (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR).
Retention period: Until the application is submitted to the client (further retention by the client is governed by its own personal data protection policy).

D. Defense against claims and dispute resolution: legal protection of the company related to the provision of recruitment services.

Legal basis: Our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
Retention period: Until the limitation period for any claims arising from legal provisions has expired.

Voluntariness of data provision:

Providing personal data is entirely voluntary but necessary to register a profile in the Power Media candidate database and present your candidacy to potential employers. You can withdraw your consent at any time (e.g., by sending an email to [email protected]), which does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before its withdrawal.

Data recipients:

Your personal data may be disclosed to:

Clients of the Agency (Potential Employers): to the minimal extent (name and surname) to verify the absence of duplicate applications (based on our legitimate interest), and in the full extent of the CV – only after disclosing the full name of the client to you and obtaining separate consent. Once full data is disclosed, the client becomes an independent controller of your personal data.
Technology service providers: entities processing data on our behalf (e.g., providers of recruitment management systems – ATS, hosting, and email).
State authorities: institutions authorized by law.

Candidate rights

You have the right to access your data, correction, deletion ("right to be forgotten"), restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing based on legitimate interest, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

Profiling and international transfers

As part of the candidate database, the company may use ancillary profiling (evaluation of skills, education, and experience against the criteria specified in client job offers). This profiling does not produce legal effects for you and does not make fully automated decisions (the final decision to contact you is always made by a recruiter). Your personal data will not be transferred to third countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
