About the Position
Senior Web Developer (M/F/D)
We are seeking a Senior Web Developer to join our dynamic team at GAL Digital GmbH in Hungen, Hesse. If you thrive in a digital startup environment with a rural touch, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside project managers, concept developers, and designers to assume technical responsibility and architecture for innovative websites and complex web applications.
- Serve as a mentor and experienced expert, sharing your knowledge, conducting code reviews, and advancing the entire team's expertise.
- Manage challenging projects from conception to go-live, ensuring that our technical solutions are creative, performant, and sustainable.
- Identify and implement new technologies that will advance our team, driving their implementation with foresight.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience.
- Expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, and at least one front-end framework (such as React or Vue).
- Proficiency in CMS and shop systems.
- Strong communication skills and a team player attitude.
- Ability to take on responsibility and manage projects independently.
- Well-thought-out architecture, application of contemporary coding standards, and good documentation.
- Confident use of Git and ticketing systems.
- Interest in the latest technologies and passion for professional development.
Nice to Have
- German language skills at least at the B2 level.
