Senior Windows Endpoint Engineer

Our client is a fast-growing cybersecurity product company building an AI-native platform for data loss prevention and insider risk management. The company develops enterprise-grade solutions that protect sensitive data across SaaS applications, generative AI tools, email, and endpoint devices. Their platform is trusted by global enterprises and designed to operate at scale in highly secure environments.

For our client, we’re looking for a Senior Windows Endpoint Engineer to join the team responsible for endpoint data exfiltration prevention. This role focuses on designing and developing core components of a Data Exfiltration platform on Windows, with deep involvement in OS internals, drivers, and system-level integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data exfiltration prevention applications, drivers, system extensions, and background services on Windows
• Build, maintain, and evolve mission-critical endpoint agents
• Own complex features end-to-end, from architecture and design to delivery and production support
• Troubleshoot low-level system issues reported by customers
• Design and build secure cross-platform components with a strong focus on Windows
• Write and maintain technical documentation for internal and public-facing services

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Strong expertise in C or C++ on Windows
• Hands-on experience developing endpoint agents on Windows
• Practical experience with Windows Driver Frameworks (WDF), filter drivers, and strong understanding of user-mode applications
• Deep understanding of Windows OS internals
• Experience with kernel-level debugging tools and processes
• Ability to use reverse engineering techniques and debug kernel-space code
• Ability to decompose complex business problems and drive them end-to-end across teams
• Willingness to learn additional systems languages such as Rust, Go, or Python; prior experience with any of them is a strong plus
• Strong ownership mindset, attention to detail, and ability to operate in a dynamic product environment
