Job description
About the Position
Join Collibra's People Solutions team as a Senior Workday Analyst in Raleigh, North Carolina. You'll join a team that's moving beyond basic SaaS administration into a strategic People function where automation drives real efficiency for our global workforce. This is a hybrid role based in our Raleigh office, requiring at least two days in the office each week.
Responsibilities
- Building automations and agentic workflow prototypes using tools like Workato and AI tools such as Claude, that connect Workday, an applicant tracking system, and other People Technology systems.
- Owning Workday business process configuration and security group architecture, including periodic access reviews and segregation-of-duties checks.
- Developing Workday reports and calculated fields that give stakeholders data they can act on and trust.
- Partnering with People and Places, IT, and other teams to troubleshoot complex configuration and data issues, and testing and deploying new functionality without breaking what's already in place.
- Extending the builder mindset beyond core HRIS admin by prototyping automations for People Operations processes like talent acquisition or onboarding wherever manual work is slowing the team down.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience configuring Workday business processes. Security architecture experience is a plus, but not required.
- Experience building Workday reports or calculated fields, or strong aptitude to grow into this quickly.
- Experience with an iPaaS/automation tool such as Workato is a plus.
- Experience with an applicant tracking system (Greenhouse or similar) is a plus.
- Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, Copilot) to solve real-world business challenges, drive measurable outcomes, or streamline workflows.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent related working experience is required.
- Comfortable translating technical configuration changes for non-technical business partners.
- Proactive about data integrity, with good judgment on ambiguous configuration requests.
- Excited to build with tools like Workato and AI tools, and to look for automation opportunities beyond your immediate team.
- Genuinely energized by growth, eager to turn a strong Workday foundation into broader ownership over time.
- A clear, collaborative communicator across technical and non-technical teams.
We Offer
- Competitive base salary range of $100,000–$120,000 per year.
- Bonus potential, equity for eligible roles, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401k plans, and more.
- Flexible benefits program designed to support you and your loved ones through a diverse range of circumstances and life events.
