About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Senior/Lead Embedded Software Engineer to join our team and play a key role in developing and enhancing software tools for industrial automation applications. This role involves not only software development but also hands-on work to build and maintain a physical testing environment, including test fixtures and measurement setups.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop clean, object-oriented embedded software
- Build and maintain test fixtures, prototypes, and measurement setups
- Work with and assemble 3D-printed parts for testing systems
- Onboard and integrate new measurement instruments and customer devices
- Collaborate with teams in an AI-assisted development environment
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in embedded systems design and development
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ combined with experience in Python
- Solid knowledge of Linux with hands-on expertise in bash and systemctl
- Background in reading and understanding schematics, hands-on skills in soldering
- Understanding of WebSockets, REST API, and HTTP protocols with familiarity using curl tool
- Flexibility to work effectively in an AI-driven development environment
- English proficiency at a B1+ level
