About the Position
Ajax Systems, a leading European manufacturer of security systems, is seeking a Senior/Lead Hardware Engineer to join our Device Department in Lviv.
Responsibilities
- Design schematics and printed circuit boards (PCBs) for new Ajax devices.
- Improve existing Ajax devices.
- Select component replacements, including necessary testing descriptions.
- Perform initial verification and debugging of prototypes.
- Prepare projects for mass production (10,000+ units/month).
Requirements
- Design experience in embedded systems.
- Proficiency in Embedded C.
- Experience with low-power design.
- Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
- Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
- Proficiency in Altium Designer.
- Experience with version control systems (git).
- Ability to read technical documentation in English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with supply chain management for large-scale production (10,000+/month).
- Experience in embedded software development for modern platforms (STM32, etc.).
- Understanding of signal integrity / power integrity in device design.
