About the Position
We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior/Lead Java Automation Engineer with 6–10 years of experience in software testing to join our team in Pune, India. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our software products through advanced automation and testing techniques, mentoring junior testers, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement test strategies, plans, and processes for complex software systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and scripts using RestAssured.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and provide actionable insights.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements where applicable.
Requirements
Must have
- 6–10 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation script development using RestAssured.
- Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java preferred).
- Experience with API testing tools (preferably: REST Assured), Postman, ReadyAPI, etc.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge in Selenium (Java).
Nice to Have
- ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent certification.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Airline Domain knowledge is a plus.
