The company's products, including the Kurbas-256 and Kurbas-640 thermal imaging cameras; FPV drones Stus-7, Lupinis-10, Horska-12, and others, are named after prominent figures of the "Executed Renaissance" and "Sixtiers" - Ukrainian intellectuals of the 20th century persecuted and destroyed by the Soviet regime. Mission of the Role:

To be a reliable bridge between the business and development teams: to deeply understand the company's financial and accounting processes, transform the needs of accounting and finance into clear, justified, and technically feasible requirements, and ensure the creation of software solutions that make accounting transparent, accurate, and efficient.

In connection with the expansion of our team, we are looking for a Senior/Middle Business System Analyst for the accounting and finance direction.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Interviews, surveys, workshops, analysis of accounting and finance documentation.
• Process Analysis: Description of the current state, identification of problem areas, proposal of targeted solutions.
• Requirement Management: Detailing business, functional, and non-functional requirements, prioritization, approval, and support.
• Documentation: Use Case, User Story, Acceptance Criteria, technical specifications.
• Modeling: Business processes in BPMN 2.0, UML diagrams, working with ERD.
• Integrations: Description of data exchange requirements between systems (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON).
• Development Support: Advising the team, participating in the acceptance of functionality.
• Documentation and Task Management: Using Confluence and JIRA.

Requirements

• Higher education in finance, economics, computer science, systems analysis, or related fields.
• 2+ years of experience as a business analyst in software development projects (financial sector).
• Experience in independently identifying requirements and managing their full lifecycle.
• Skills in describing Use Case, User Story, and writing Acceptance Criteria.
• Knowledge of BPMN 2.0, UML, and understanding of ERD at logical and physical levels.
• Experience with Confluence, JIRA, and visualization tools (draw.io, Camunda, PlantUML, etc.).
• Fluency in Ukrainian.

Nice to Have

• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Experience in preparing technical specifications.
• Experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON).
