About the Position
ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Senior.NET Developer in Poland or Ukraine.
About the Project
It’s a long-term project that helps to maintain government facilities on the Channel Islands. The systems include testing for driving license, car registration, fines from video registration; taxation for real estate; users space; custom facilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the system maintenance and continuous improvement
- Lead design and development of new system areas, processes, and business logic
- Resolve technical issues and ensure system stability
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, architecture principles, and best practices
- Conduct code reviews and guide refactoring efforts
- Ensure knowledge sharing, collaboration, and mentorship for new developers
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and deliverables
- Track progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery
- Support deployment and post-release monitoring
- Ensure technical documentation and knowledge capture
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Good understanding and hands-on experience with ASP.NET WebForms
- Willingness to work with custom-developed framework based on ASP.NET WebForms (with introduced controller concept) and utilizing ASP.NET / AJAX
- Proficiency in C#, T-SQL
- Deep understanding of .NET Framework 4.8 and .NET Core internals
- Experience with reflection, dynamic loading, and custom control libraries
- Ability to work with ViewState, PostBack, and server-side controls
- Familiarity with AJAX Extensions and partial page updates
- Understanding of custom ORM patterns and how they interact with LINQ and SQL
- Experience with implementing a custom ORM built on top of LINQ
- Upper-Intermediate level of English
