About the Position

ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Senior.NET Developer with GenAI experience in Poland and Croatia.

About the Project

Our client provides an enterprise solution that helps companies automate and manage core business processes, including finance, procurement, supply chain, sales, and reporting. The team focuses on exploring GenAI capabilities and turning new ideas into PoCs and product MVPs.

Responsibilities

Design and develop backend solutions using C#,.NET, and ASP.NET Core
Explore and implement GenAI-powered capabilities as part of the AI Lab team
Build and evaluate prototypes, PoCs, and MVPs to validate new product ideas
Work with LLM-based solutions, including RAG and agentic AI patterns
Collaborate with technical and product stakeholders to turn concepts into working solutions
Contribute to Python-based development as needed and continuously develop Python expertise
Participate in technical design, estimation, sprint planning, reviews, and other Agile ceremonies
Ensure solutions follow engineering, security, quality, and development best practices
Work effectively in an exploratory environment where requirements evolve through experimentation

Requirements

5+ years of commercial software development experience with a strong focus on .NET development
Strong proficiency in C#, modern.NET (8/9), ASP.NET Core, and Web API
At least 6 months of hands-on experience with AI/GenAI solutions
Practical understanding of LLM application patterns such as RAG, AI agents, prompt engineering/orchestration, and tool/function calling
Experience with Microsoft Azure
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering best practices
Experience working in Agile software development environments
Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Willingness to learn and actively work with Python

Nice to Have

Hands-on Python development experience
Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, or Semantic Kernel
Experience with agentic AI, RAG, or MCP-based integrations
Experience with rapid prototyping, PoC, or MVP development
