Senior.NET Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior.NET Engineer to join our remote team in LATAM. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with strongly typed languages such as C# and .Net (Framework and Core), and loosely typed languages like Python and Javascript, as well as a strong understanding of SQL dialects, particularly MS SQL Server. Most importantly, we seek a candidate who applies creative technical thinking and a genuine passion for troubleshooting to master and improve complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex problems, sometimes with code
• Provide architectural guidance for new and existing systems
• Write clean and maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews with your peers
• Participate in team meetings and other department ceremonies
• Troubleshoot complex customer issues
• Develop strategies for solving common issues that may occur over short-term band-aid fixes
• Be a part of a distributed and globally diverse team

Requirements

• Five or more years of professional software engineering experience
• 4-6 years of practical experience in languages like C#,.Net (Framework and Core)
• 3-5 years of practical experience with languages Python, Javascript
• Comfortable with SQL (MS SQL Server specifically)

Nice to Have

• Proficiency with NServiceBus, MSMQ, Kafka, and AWS
• Ability to adapt and strong eagerness to learn new technology or techniques
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, mathematics, or related area
