Senior.NET Engineer

About the Position

Ciklum is looking for a Senior.NET Engineer to join our team full-time in Romania. We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. About the role:
As a Senior.NET Engineer, become a part of the Product Engine team. This bespoke, cloud-native system manages the entire credit lifecycle. Built on a modern tech stack and cloud infrastructure, it supports hundreds of thousands of active credit card customers and is being expanded to replace legacy systems for instalment loans across multiple markets. This project is with a global Financial Services Provider that focuses on providing responsible credit to underbanked customers in international markets. The current strategy centers on consolidating technology delivery to a single partner to drive efficiency and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex solutions comprising cloud infrastructure services and platform services using automated deployment methods
• Communicate effectively with technical peers and delivery team stakeholders
• Forge close links with architects, developers, analysts, and wider team members within the development team
• Prioritize individual workloads and escalate key issues as required to maintain project momentum
• Maintain self-sufficiency while contributing to high-quality software delivery cycles

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in developing complex solutions and managing technical teams
• Expert proficiency in.NET Core, C#, REST APIs, HTML/CSS, React, ASP.Net MVC, and Unit Testing / TDD
• Expert knowledge of AWS components: API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, Fargate, S3, Aurora RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, Load Balancers, Route 53, SQS, SNS, EC2, Kinesis, and IAM
• Expert proficiency in Azure DevOps Pipelines, Docker, and Git/source control
• Valid AWS Certified Developer – Associate certificate as an advantage
• Expert soft skills: Fluent English, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively with both peers and delivery team stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Expertise in AWS monitoring tools: Elastic Search service & Kibana, and CloudWatch
• Proficiency in AWS CloudTrail and JIRA / Confluence
