About the Role

We are seeking a SEO / GEO Junior Manager to join our Organic Search Team in Berlin. You will focus on SEO & GEO strategies and client support, working closely with our team to develop and implement projects for our clients.

Responsibilities

Support the strategy development and implementation of SEO & GEO projects for clients.
Deepen your knowledge in search engine optimization and conduct analyses, elaborations, and validations of technical optimization measures.
Assist in client support for various projects in close collaboration with your assigned Team Lead.
Participate in website audits (On- and Off-Page).
Monitor domain developments and communicate the associated SEO-relevant KPIs.
Support the execution of training and workshops.
Analyze the visibility of brands and clients in AI-generated responses (e.g., Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) and derive appropriate measures.
Assist in the development of GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategy concepts.
Optimize content to be well understood, cited, and included in responses by AI search systems, e.g., through clear answer structures, entities, and structured data.
Aim to qualify for a manager position and independently support clients.

Requirements

At least one year of relevant professional experience in search engine optimization.
Basic knowledge of using common SEO tools (Sistrix Toolbox or Searchmetrics Research Cloud, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, etc.).
Initial experience with at least one of the following SEO backlink tools: LinkResearchTools, Majestic, Ahrefs.
Basic understanding of algorithmic/manual penalties.
Basic understanding of how Large Language Models (LLMs) select, evaluate, and summarize information for responses.
Knowledge of structured data (Schema.org) and its use for search engines and AI systems.
Ideally, experience in analyzing brand mentions and visibility in AI search responses.
Fluent in German and good English skills in speech and writing. The focus of this position is on supporting our German-speaking client base. You should feel comfortable enough in the German language to confidently conduct complex consultation meetings and written communication in German.
Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
A strong commitment and desire for further education and the development of specialized know-how.
