Do you want to be found not only on Google but also make brands visible in the new world of AI search? Then make more of it! As an SEO Manager (m/w/d), you will combine strategic search engine optimization with technical expertise, data-driven decisions, and innovative AI approaches.

We are looking for an SEO Manager (m/w/d) for our location in Stuttgart as soon as possible. The position is initially fixed-term for 2 years, but with the option for permanent employment.

Responsibilities

• You will take strategic and budgetary responsibility for your client projects
• You will increase organic traffic, rankings, and conversions and optimize the visibility of brands in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity
• You will analyze KPIs such as qualified non-brand traffic, conversion rate, share of voice, and AI visibility using Google Search Console, Sistrix, and Peec AI
• You will optimize websites technically and content-wise with tools like Screaming Frog and common CMS, improve crawl management, and implement structured data
• You will use AI tools like Claude and Gemini for analysis, content briefings, pattern recognition, and process automation, so you can make more out of new opportunities
• You will work with project management, web design, and content management teams and advise your clients on effective SEO and GEO measures

Requirements

• You have completed training or a degree in media/marketing or a comparable qualification and have solid professional experience in search engine optimization, ideally in an agency
• You are proficient with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Sistrix, and Ahrefs, as well as Google Search Console and common web analytics tools
• You are familiar with technical SEO, on-page and off-page optimization, keyword research, local SEO, and entity optimization
• You understand HTML and CSS as well as the basics of large language models (LLMs) and generative AI search and have already gained experience in prompt engineering
• You can interpret SEO metrics, derive concrete action recommendations from data, and communicate complex strategies to clients clearly in both spoken and written German
• You actively follow developments in the search landscape and bring your knowledge of AI-supported workflows; initial Python knowledge is a plus
