  • Ensure all changes are delivered in accordance with agreed standards, security controls, customer processes, and defined change windows.
  • Support service restoration and major incident activities where automation, monitoring, or integration services are impacted.
  • Contribute to ongoing service improvement and platform optimization initiatives.

Requirements

  • Core Skills:

    • Strong hands-on experience administering, supporting, and troubleshooting Microsoft System Center Orchestrator (SCORCH), ideally SCORCH 2022 or later.
    • Experience designing, maintaining, testing, and deploying Orchestrator runbooks within enterprise environments.
    • Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
    • Experience automating and integrating with Active Directory, Exchange Online, Azure AD / Entra ID, and related Microsoft technologies.
    • Experience integrating SCORCH with ServiceNow, including ITSM workflows, automated ticket creation, request fulfillment, REST APIs, and OAuth-based integrations.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft SCOM integration, alert processing, event management workflows, and monitoring tool integrations.
    • Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server administration fundamentals relevant to Orchestrator databases and platform support.
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex automation, runbook, database, and integration issues.
    • Experience supporting lifecycle activities including patching, upgrades, resilience testing, capacity management, and platform transitions.
    • Ability to understand automation logic, workflow design, runbook content, and operational dependencies across large enterprise environments.
    • Experience working within an ITIL-based environment, including Incident, Change, Problem, and Release Management.
    • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks and issues.
    • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, particularly during critical situations.
    • Experience supporting Microsoft SCORCH runbooks and automation services is essential.
    • Strong experience in runbook development, troubleshooting, PowerShell automation, and lifecycle management.
    • Flexibility to support out-of-hours activities where required.
  • Nice to Have:
