Based in Bangalore, India, the India team plays a critical role in delivering Oracle Retail implementations, upgrades, and 24/7 global support across all OLR regions. Our teams work closely with teams in Europe, North America, and Latin America to provide end-to-end Oracle Retail systems integration, application support, and continuous optimization for global retail operations.

Responsibilities

• Providing support and implementing business processes in Oracle RPAS SAAS solution
• Working with product and architecture teams to build world-class IT solutions supporting the merchandising processes of the project
• Demonstrating subject matter expertise for certain functions/processes/tools
• Delivering and ensuring the functionality of the developed solutions
• Collaboration across multiple environments and interactions with peers and customers across different geographies
• Investigating operational needs and problems, and opportunities, contributing to the recommendation of improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes and organization
• Assisting in defining acceptance tests for these recommendations

Requirements

• Defines and manages scoping, requirements definition, and prioritization activities for small-scale changes and assists with more complex change initiatives
• Follows agreed standards, applying appropriate techniques to elicit and document detailed requirements
• Prioritizes requirements and documents traceability to source
• Reviews requirements for errors and omissions
• Investigates, manages, and applies authorized requests for changes to base-lined requirements, in line with change management policy
• Knowledge of all Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server solutions
• Technical expertise in Unix, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting
• Knowledge of integrations between source-RPAS-destinations, also "RETL" program
• Experience in Advanced JAVA, RPAS SAAS, Unix, Shell Scripting. Well aware of HTTP and SSL and setting up OBIEE connection with SSL
• BTech/BE in Computer Science, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in a relevant area
• Understanding of different cultures
• Participated in projects with people from other functions/markets
• Proficient spoken and written command of English

• Batch monitoring applications like Appworx, Automic, or POM
