About the Position
Service Engineer Algeria
Join Belden Inc as a Service Engineer in Algeria, where you'll ensure the proper functioning of solutions and handle incidents remotely.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the proper functioning of solutions, handle incidents, and client requests in accordance with expected service levels (TAC2/TAC3)
- Perform monitoring and field interventions on existing installations
- Be on-call "from home" during nights/weekends as part of a rotating schedule
- Design, configure, and commission new solutions (WAN, LAN, Routing, Telephony, CCTV, etc.)
- Assist the project manager during the technical study, engineering, and project execution phases
- Provide technical support to the sales manager
- Write and maintain reports, documentation, and procedures for both internal and external use
- Provide continuous reporting
Requirements
- Education: INTTIC (BAC+5) graduation or similar
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a technical support or service role in networking
- Core Skills:
- TDM & Packet Switching
- TCP/IP
- Routing
- MPLS
- Wireless
- MS Visio
- MS SQL Server
- MySQL
- Office
- Secondary Skills (nice to have):
- Cybersecurity
- programming/scripting
- CCNA/CCNP
- Personality: Highly autonomous and team-oriented, with strong communication and writing skills, excellent multitasking ability, and attention to detail
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in Arabic, French, and English on a professional level
- Willingness to Travel: Predominantly domestically 30%
