About the Position
We are looking for a Service Engineer - Power Transformer to join our team in Maneja, Gujarat, India. This role involves the supervision of erection and commissioning of 765 KV Power Transformers at various sites in India. The successful candidate will handle customer and contractors effectively, providing technical advice, commissioning, installing, and testing products/equipment.
Responsibilities
- Supervision of erection & commissioning of 765 KV Power Transformers at various sites in India.
- Handle customer & contractors effectively.
- Vast knowledge on transformers, reactors & special transformers installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Familiar with the latest safety standards.
- Customer handling as well as manpower/team handling capabilities.
- Responsible for the safe & successful completion of site work, communication with factory departments, suppliers & customers.
- Knowledge of General arrangement drawings, schematic drawings, and successful parallel operation & other schemes.
- Oil filling & filtration, vacuum process at site. Understanding all types of power transformers & reactors.

- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements
- BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a reputed college of engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in power Transformers & Reactors erection, testing, and commissioning, troubleshooting of power Transformers up to 500 MVA, 765 KV class.
- Proficient in MS-Office, Excel, and email.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience of checking schematic wiring, RTCC panel, OLTC parallel operation, etc.
- Handling turnkey projects, 765 KV class Transformers & reactors, HVDC transformers, etc.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
