About the Position

We are at the forefront of technology and are dedicated to protecting industries with our advanced technical solutions. As part of our expansion, we are looking to expand our team of Service Engineers. If you have a technical interest and want to contribute to a safer and more effective world of process industries, we are looking forward to having you on our team.

Responsibilities

As a Service Engineer you will be Firefly's leading-edge on-site at our customers sites. You will work with advanced tailor-made system solutions and be responsible for preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on current systems, as well as commissioning new systems and installations. You will also educate customers in system functionality, trouble-shooting and daily maintenance.

Your work is done independently, but you will be part of a team with Area Sales Managers and Technical Project Leaders dedicated to the US & Canada area. The job includes traveling in both above-mentioned countries.

Requirements

  • At least upper secondary engineering education, or a few years’ experience within technical service
  • A broad technical interest and knowledge, where you master troubleshooting and the verifying of components within electricity, electronics and mechanics.
  • Ability to travel

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience as a travelling Service Engineer, preferably within process industries
  • Experience from various industries
